Long Plane Ride/Big Game

We landed in London at 12 pm local time, 5 am to our internal clocks. We went through customs with little or no problems (other than Hilary who didn't know how to fill out her Landing Slip). From there, we picked up our luggage and found Bryan, our local courrier, who took us to our bus and driver, Steve. We were on the bus and headed to Fulham arriving at Craven Cottage at 2:15 for a 3 pm kick off. It was an English Premier League (EPL) game between Fulham Football Club and the Blackburn Rovers. It was an amazing game that ended up 3-2 after a penalty kick was awarded in the 88th minute to the home side. The game was sold out and the crowd was much crazier than anything we'd ever seen in the U.S. It was cool to experience the culture in the stadium in a country where soccer is the main sport.

After a long flight and being up for nearly 32 hours it is time to call it a day. Looking forward to Hampton Court Palace, Wembley Stadium, and a play at the West End Theatre District tomorrow. Tune in tomorrow!
